CASEY Stoner highsided his Repsol Honda in the Assen Friday morning practice session following a huge oil spill.

The oil spill was caused by Alex Baldolini’s Suter in the Moto2 session. He carried on riding, covering half the circuit in oil, which, despite the marshall's best efforts, still affected grip levels for the following MotoGP session.

In what was a strange turn of events, all three Repsol Honda riders crashed in the same session woith Stoner going down first, Dovizioso second, on the same corner and Aoyama - who's standing in for Pedrosa - in third.

All three riders were released from the medical centre with a clean bill of health.
