Fiat Yamaha MotoGP boss confirms one rider only for next two races
FIAT YAMAHA MotoGP boss Davide Brivio had confirmed Valentino Rossi wil NOT be replaced in the team's 2010 squad for the next two events: Britain and Assen. The nine-time motorcycle world champion suffered a serious break of his right leg when he crashed during practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello less than a week ago. See the pictures of Rossi's crash.Brivio said the replacement rider, who's yet to be confirmed by the team, will make their first racing appearance at Barcelona, at the Circuit de Catalunya, on 4th July.
I reckon that is crap , they have had two weeks to get a rider on board to at least keep the small grid up at 17 riders.
In the current climate they should be told to replace riders if the next event is over a week away , that is plenty of time.
Poor show from Yamaha imo.
