You'll have to wait until 2011 to see Rossi like this

FORMER MOTOGP World Champion Valentino Rossi is to ride his new Ducati MotoGP racer in an all-black black colour scheme at the post-season Valencia test session, rather than the team's Marlboro red colours, as a mark of respect to current employers Yamaha.

The Italian was granted permission by Yamaha to test for Ducati at Valencia, despite Rossi's current contract with the Fiat Yamaha team.

Those eager to see Rossi riding the bike in the team's iconic all-red colours will now have to wait until next year.

It's not unusual to see the test bikes clad in plain carbon fibre bodywork at this test... especially if they have bodywork updates as it is not so easy to spot the difference when it is all black.
