I know some moan about the introduction of the CRT's, mostly factory riders! But looking at the line up, without them there would have been only 12 bikes this year! And no matter how you look at it a 12 bike race series will be as dull as dish water!

Really looking forward to see how this year pans out with the crt bikes.
But i cant help thinking that the riders theve got on the crt bikes arn't going to set the world on fire. Other than RDP i just can't see them making any impression.
I really hope im proven wrong though but it all seems abit half hearted just to put more riders on the grid.
Having said that i can see alot of the young superbike guys making the jump to a crt bike in the next few years.

CRT Vs factory bikes. Remember Melandri on the Kawasaki? 9 CRT bikes will be the last nine every race until it rains....At least Karel Abraham and 'Hectic Barbara' will have someone to beat, maybe...

It's gonna be a cracker. CRT is going to take at LEAST a season to get anywhere near the pace. But, that Aprilia RSV4 motor is no slouch. So I reckon it won't be as far out as everyone thinks.

I'd agree with Aki, 12 bikes would be fucking dull. Bring. It. On.

:D

What's the difference anyhow if there's two classes of bikes. Its inevitable that every year, be they on whatever machines, there is always an order, those who are up fornt every week, and those who arent, so big fucking deal. I dont mind a small grid really, for as my mate who knows nothing about racing and scoffs at it as absurd states, 'why do the people who come last even bother entering?". Though I dont agree he has a point, they always do come last so for whatever reason, who cares.

It's gotta be said, the biggest let down of the year is that Stoner hasn't buggered off and retired successful. The arrogant little sod needs putting back on the Ducati that was made for him and let Nicky Hayden have another Honda bash.

Rossi will hopefully have worked out how to use the Duc this year too, he wasn't his usual sparkling best last year. A good season would be much appreciated!

I dunno what to make of all this. If IF Suzuki do go the CRT route, I reckon it would be a bit of a shame. But I can understand the reasons,...
