Suzuki dominate penultimate BSB test

Kirkham, Hopkins and Brookes log the top three times around the Brands Hatch Indy circuit

The countdown to the first round of the British Superbike nears as the Crescent Suzuki pairing of Jon Kirkham and John Hopkins topped the penultimate test session yesterday.

The Samsung Crescent Suzuki team were joined by the Relentless Suzuki by TAS rider, Josh Brookes, giving the GSX-R1000 a complete lock of the top three positions. After a difficult season last year Gary Mason, onboard the brand new Kawasaki ZX-10R, put the green MSS Colchester machine in fourth.

  3. Josh Brookes (Relentless Suzuki by TAS) 46.2s
  4. Gary Mason (MSS Colchester Kawasaki) 46.2s
  5. Michael Rutter (Rapid Solicitors-Bathams Ducati) 46.2s
  6. Stuart Easton (MSS Colchester Kawasaki) 46.5s
  7. Tommy Bridewell (Tyco Honda) 46.5s
  8. Martin Jessopp (Rapid Solicitors-Bathams Ducati) 46.6s
  9. Peter Hickman (Tyco Honda) 46.7s
  10. Patrick Muff (Tyco Honda) 47.7s
