THE British Superstock 600 round at Oulton Park was red-flagged on the 11th lap after this horrific crash between Josh Wainwright and Johnny Blackshaw.

Wainwright crashed out of the lead at Druids and an in-pursuit Blackshaw was unable to avoid and went straight over the head of the stricken rider.

Following the crash there were fears that Wainwright had injured his neck, but he was lucky to escape the crash with a broken rib and collarbone.

Now that was lucky! You could see the other rider looking back as he knew what had happened!

You only have to know that is what happend to Simoncelli and Craig Jones and both did not survive! I guess he was lucky that at that point of the circuit the front of the bike goes light, so that could have been a huge factor in his survival!

I was shitting bricks when I saw the accident. Looked really bad. I'm glad Josh came away from it relatively unscathed, because I thought he was a goner!

Get well soon Josh x

Happens all the time in racing - it's why a lot of people go. I wouldn't worry about it .
