BRITISH SUPERSTOCK champion Alastair Seeley is going to race at Oulton park in just over a week's time on the TAS Relentless Suzuki Superbike.

The Irishman made an impressive debut on the 'Evo' specification bike at Silverstone where he took a top ten finish but this will be the first time he has raced on the Superbike in BSB.

Seeley had a sensational debut on the team's BSB Evo bike, built specially to trial the new class rules that demand a superstock engine and no electronic rider aids and will replace the Mirror.co.uk Cup next year.

But now the team are going to thank him for all his efforts on the Evo bike and for winning the National Superstock title this year, by letting him loose on the superbike with considerable more horsepower (175bhp of the superstock engine compared to 200+ of the superbike) and full traction control.

Team owner Philip Neill said: "The job is done with the Evo bike. Alastair proved a point that the new rules will work. Let's park that now and see what he can do on the superbike."
