It must be true. Badger says

Yes it's me. The Badger is back.

The Badger sett's phone has been red hot the past forty-eight hours.

Rather than news of a tasty outbreak of root grubs or the imminent arrival of jack russells, the talk has all been about BSB and the signing-up of Noriyuki Haga San's services. Fans will indeed think this is the dog's borrocks. It's true. It's happening, Haga will be in BSB in 2012*.

The chances are, Haga will ride for a European team on either Ducati or Aprilia tackle - but that really is just a wild guess. Allegedly, Haga's salary is being funded in part by Jonathan Palmer's MSV, the BSB series organiser.

Badger has some concerns about this news. Can Nori be bothered with a damp Wednesday afternoon test session at Mallory in March? Will he be able to see BSB as anything other than a backward step?

What will he make of the circuit-side hot food stalls?

The questions may be as yet unanswered but one thing's for sure - he should be able to adapt to the traction control ban OK.

Great news for the BSB series! John Hopkins really set the season alight last year, and I really hope to see Nori do the same. Can't wait to see him track!

Cant see why haga would see it as to much of a backward step, he's never won much in wsb or mgp, hes got a great chance of getting a title if he puts alot of effort in but it still wont be easy ask hopper, but gregorio lavier and john hopkins had a great time in bsb so haga should do really well, and its great for us.
also cant wait to go in the paddock and get him to sign my helmet ( oow matron)

He's never won much in WSB or MGP? You must be on crack, mate! :) He never won in MGP, but has won many races in WSB. He's just never won the championship.

Come on lads. do you know what you talking about ? The MAN has won 43 WSBK races. He was robbed of a championship on a trumped up doping charge. The substance occurs naturally in a herbal Japanese tea.Enough whining. All Japan SBK champ, Suzuka 8 hour winner and crowd entertainer bar NONE, Nori is a LEGEND !
