TOMMY HILL was apparently only a fraction off lap-record pace when he tested at Brands Hatch on the GP circuit earlier this week.
The Worx Crescent Suzuki team have not released times from the outing but a team insider told visordown.com: “Tommy was there to continue setting up on the bike and to get a bit of early track time in before we race there next weekend and even thought there were quite a few people out on track because it was open sessions Tommy was very fast.
“What’s impressing the team is his attitude to the job; he’s always positive and pushing as hard as he can and we’re already seeing a benefit from having him onboard. He’s never happy to sit there and take the times coming to him; he’s always pushing harder and harder and we saw that at Brands.”
