SWAN HONDA BSB rider Stuart Easton is currently undergoing further medical checks following his crash at Cadwell Park earlier today (Tuesday) during testing with the team ahead of the start of the 2010 British Superbike Championship.

Easton crashed at Charlie's Corner, suffering a deep cut to the back of his knee. He was airlifted to Lincoln Hospital for x-ray to further asses the injury.

Team Manager Shaun Muir said: "It isn't as bad as we first thought. It doesn't seem like there has been any tendon or cartilage damage and Stuart is just going in for some exploratory surgery now. There has been some muscle damage, so far as we can tell, but nothing more serious than that. We hope to have Stuart out of hospital tomorrow and then we can assess the situation further."
