DANNY BUCHAN has returned to MSS Kawasaki after parting ways with the CN Racing Honda team.

The talented Superstock rider signed with the Ten Kate supported CN Racing outfit but struggled to adapt to sharing a crew chief. The decision will see Buchan back on a ZX-10R and under the guidance of former World Supersport champion Andrew Pitt.

The 2011 Superstock runner-up said: “The last few weeks haven’t been ideal in the garage and rather than let it drag on we made a decision as quickly as possible. To be fair Julia and the team were very welcoming to me from the very beginning and we have nothing but respect for the owners and their enthusiasm.

"Racing can be quite brutal sometimes and we’ve got to do the best we can for results so that’s why we’re going back to Nick and the MSS squad, I cant wait to get back to my old Ninja. It’s all happened really quickly and I’m chuffed that Kawasaki want me back, big thanks to Ross for sorting me out a bike.

"Oulton is a track I’ve always done well at and I can’t see why with a quick practice there next week we can’t be back on the pace pretty quickly.”

MSS Bathams Kawasaki Team Manager Nick Morgan added: “To be honest we didn’t want to lose Danny in the first place and after a good couple of seasons he felt part of the family, so we’re pleased to welcome him back. He’s well regarded at Kawasaki and is part of their Team Green programme so that’s ideal.

"We now need to get him focused on the job in hand and string some good results together which we know he is more than capable of.”
