Visordown's BSB mole unearths unofficial news - Aprilia will race in British Superbikes from next year
APRILIA ARE to run an official factory-backed team in next year's British Superbikes series, reports Visodown's BSB mole.
Unofficial reports claim the company will run a two-rider team in Britain's home superbike series, using Aprilia's new RSV4 World Superbike racer. The machine has already made an impressive debut season in the World Superbike series; Aprilia's Max Biaggi is holding sixth place in the championship, while Aprilia are positioned fourth in the race for the manufacturers' title.
It's said the company have yet to decide on excatly who they want riding their bikes in the newly-formed team.
