TOMMY BRIDEWELL has announced he is to contest the next round of the series included within the ViSK.com British Superbike Championship, after an impressive three wins in the last four races in the Mirror.co.uk Cup.

The Wiltshire rider will contest in the next round of the championship, which takes place at Mallory Park in Leicestershire next weekend (July 17/19).

Tommy said: "Most people know what happened at Mallory two years ago so I'm going there with a couple of points to prove to myself and others. Despite two or three bikes becoming available after Knockhill, I'm disappointed that no one even gave me a call so I've realised that I need to keep putting myself in the shop window and a couple more wins at Mallory will help. It's only another circuit and it will suit my bike so there's no reason at all why we can't continue our good run of results and that's the plan. We've got the bike working well and I've got the added incentive of beating those guys who are just coming into BSB on those bikes so rest assured, if anyone thinks I'll be fazed by the place and I'll be holding back they will be sadly mistaken. We are going with the sole intention of securing another pair of top ten results, winning both Cup races and beating as many works bikes as possible."
