SHANE Byrne and Michael Laverty split the wins at Knockhill.
Laverty, on the Samsung Honda, held the lead in the early stages of the opening race but was soon passed by the hard charging Byrne, with reigning champion Tommy Hill following into second shortly afterwards.
In race two, Laverty battled with Hill out front, passing him twice at the Hairpin but losing the position by running wide. On lap 11 the Ulsterman held the position and eked out a comfortable lead, Byrne took second with Hill third.
Taking second and third at the Scottish circuit allowed Hill to retain the lead in the championship standings.
