SHANE Byrne leads the British Superbike Championship after Oulton Park.
Byrne would have been under more pressure from Hopkins, had Hopkins not crashed whilst in the lead at Oulton Park's race 1. Race 2 was cancelled due to poor weather conditions and will be rescheduled for Cadwell Park, a circuit Byrne goes well on.
