On your bike ... Anthony West may turn up in a domestic series. But not on this bike. We hope.

ANTHONY West is consdering a move to British Superbikes in 2012.

West, who was due to be riding for the Speedmaster CRT team in MotoGP, was replaced at the last minute by Mattia Pasini. West put the whole saga down to a lack of funds, claiming all the teams are asking for money from their riders, money which he doesn't have.

However, West has claimed on his Facebook page that he's not been short of offers to race in domestic championships, including British Superbikes, IDM in Germany and AMA in America.

He said: "I'm just looking for the best way to go, and a team that can win!!! And I will start now to try raise the money to come back into GP or WSBK for 2013".

West and Haga in BSB? It sounds too good to be true. We're not holding our breath.

with all due respect to the other race series ,

If he wants to save his career he should go to BSB!

With all due respect, you are a fool!

Why is he a fool for saying that his career would get a much needed shot in the arm from BSB?

Tell you what, how's about asking John Hopkins what he thinks about BSB and the help it's given him....

Do it Westy!!! Would be brilliant to see him and Nori in BSB :)

BSB would not be a step back it would be a huge step forward compared to mid 20's results in moto 2, gp is the top championship because of the money on tap, imho it goes gp,bsb, wsbk, ama but in terms of action BSB tops any other championship in the world, where else do you get a 32 strong field where going into the season it would be safe to put money on any one of ten riders

Its all better than the orginal emotional response of quitting bikes and getting a real job. Good to see

I think it says alot about the reputation bsb has that so many people are and have been linked and moved to the championship in the last few years.
