Andrews on triple driving offence charges
BSB star faces six months in jail or driving ban for multiple road traffic offences
BRITISH SUPERBIKE racer Simon Andrews could be getting the bus between circuits for this year's upcoming BSB Championship - the MSS Kawasaki man is set to lose his road licence after pleading guilty to three separate driving offences.
Andrews, 27, of Wickhamford, pleaded guilty in his absence to driving without due care and attention, failing to stop at an accident and failing to report an accident at Worcester Magistrates Court, reports Worcester News.
Magistrates have adjourned the case until Monday, March 8, to give Andrews time to present for sentencing. Andrews did not attend court because he is currently training in France.
The BSB star, who finished sixth overall in the 2009 Championship, faces a maximum penalty of six months in prison, or discretionary disqualification.
