VISITORS TO this year's Milan Motorcycle Show may have spotted Yamaha's wacky Super Tenere concept bike, replete with wraparound shemagh.

Well, here's an equally wacky video to accompany Yamaha's 2010 super trailie, complete with vintage footage of previous incarnations of the Tenere, as well as technical morsels of the new 1200cc, 4-stroke, parallel twin.

The 2010 Super Tenere is to be festooned with a host of new technology, including 3-position ABS, electronic throttle and traction control, shaft drive, side-mounted radiator and a 270-degree crank.

I had a 1984 XT600 Tenere - It was great fun!!!

Every time I went out on it I came back back with a great big smile on my face - I'm sorry I sold it now!!!
