American motorcycle cop escapes full-on swipe from car while stood on hard shoulder
THIS bone-crunching video shows that even motorcycle cops can fall fowl of dozy drivers - even when they parked up.
In the jaw-dropping video has released by Oregon Law Officials, onboard footage from a bike cop's police bike shows the stationary motorcycle being piled into the officer and parked car as another car smashes into it.
The accident happened last November in Hillsboro, Oregon. Officer Clint Chrz suffered what has been described as 'serious injuries' in the accident. The driver of the car is now facing charges.
The footage was released in conjunction with a new safety campaign trying to get drivers to move over, away from vehicles that are stopped by the side of the road.
