CRUSTY DEMON Jackson Strong has set a new world record by successfully landing an 85-foot frontflip.

The young Australian pulled-off the stunt in front of a 6,000-strong crowd in Cairns, Australia.

"I've been working on the front flip on a dirt bike for a long time, "said Strong after his successful attempt.

"I've had four crashes doing the same trick. The first crash I actually lacerated my liver and had internal bleeding and kind of that was a bit of a scary one I spent seven days in intensive care," said Strong.

Following his success, Strong was invited to compete in the X Games in the United States but was keen to point out that his roots are firmly planted in his home town of Lockhart, Australia.

"I just love it here at home in Lockhart you know I wouldn't do anything different, wouldn't be anywhere else.

"When I'm finished up riding I'll definitely be a hundred per cent farming here on dad's farm when I'm all done."

Bless him.
