VIDEO: Capcom MotoGP '08 first look

Enjoy the first taster of Capcom's latest-generation MotoGP game - due for release in October

THE FIRST taster of this year's the MotoGP series has been revealed at the Games Convention in Liepsig.

It features all the riders, bikes and tracks from the official 2008 season and also a new handing mode that allows access points for gamers of all skill levels. Good results in racing earn points that will then unlock bike upgrades to improve attributes such as straight line speed, braking and cornering.

MotoGP '08 also features the all new Indianopolis track and the spectacle of night racing at the Qatar circuit. The game will also offer online play for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC owners.

The game's due for official release in October.

Speedy.

I'll have to wait and read a review, MotoGP was excellent on the Xbox but when another software house took over they screwed it up, so I'm not expecting the new one to be to great, even if it is Capcom doing it.

 this looks good, but SBK08 is out first, and i dont know if i can wait for motogp.

Hmmmm.

Being a mahoosive fan of Gran Turismo & Tourist Trophy I'm wondering whether this will be as good as the follow up to Tourist Trophy on the PS3.

I had MotoGP '07 on the PS2 and it was distinctly average against TT.

On the plus side, it had all the riders and the detailing was pretty good.

I probably will end up getting MGP08 anyway, just so JT can finish on the podium bless 'im.
