Rossi rides at Misano (new footage)

Nine-time world champ's back on track

WE HATE to disappoint the fellas at The Motorcycle News but contrary to their rather blinkered belief there's more than one video of Valentino Rossi lapping Misano circuit yesterday on a WSB-spec YZF-R1 - this clip was filmed by a loyal Rossifumi at the Italian track.

Rossi completed 26 laps aboard the Yamaha racer, posting a best time of 1min 38.2 secs.

See Visordown's Rossi Misano test picture gallery.

Following the test, Rossi said he had some pain in his ankle and shoulder and will make a decision next week as to when he'll make a return to MotoGP.

*Sorry folks, but those miserable tightwads at Dorna (you know, the ones that get their wages off the back of the extortionate ticket prices at MotoGP) have disabled the clip. Don't worry, we'll have it back up shortly.

apparently (MCN...) lapped at 1:38 which would have put him on the back of the grid 2 secs off Corser's  pole... broken legs, knackered shoulder and all... Rossi for WSB in 2 years time???

Rossi for WSB in two years time! Why would he want to take a step down? because that is what he'd be doing.
