Not good practice parking in lane one, I wouldn't have done it that way in a car. You live and learn, hopefully.

Hey guys, this was in Holland, close to my home, north of Amsterdam.

The complete story is that there was another accident on the other side of the road, and i mean directly on the other side, the ambulance you see was carrying one of the victims of that accident. The police motorcycle intented to close of one of the driving lanes to give the ambulance a clear road, and in this case he was lucky because all of the emergency services where present on the other side, so they were there right away.

We've got alot of morons here ..

I'm sorry to say, but I expected that to happen.

I only drive (not ride) blue lights for the ambulance service and if you think that everyone will do as you expect, you're going to be very disappointed.

I nearly wrote a brand new transit off (600 miles on the clock) overtaking a line of traffic that all pulled over for me. One driver in the middle of the queue decided to pull out of the queue as I was 3 car lengths off the back bumper. Luckly the other side of the road had a big enough break in the traffic.

I drive to emergencies like we all ride our bikes... Like if something could possibly go wrong, it will.

easily avoidable imo, all he had to do was open the throttle and get in the fast lane of traffic where there was a gap... ?

guess it's who-wants-to-be-a-millionaire syndrome aint it..?
...you know the answer when you're sat on the couch but when you're there and the pressure's on, it's a different story..!

how the fark is copper the idiot?

cops has the right and duty to contol traffic. a police car would stop in a lane to block it the same way, with lights on.

drivers need to pay attention and this is an example of the worst type that dont have a safe following distance and dont keep vigilant in relativity to their speed.

id expect the stupid comments blaming the cop from cagers, but from other bikers? daft.

The whole concept of some saying that LOUD pipes save lives I think is a big pile of “ BS “…!  In fact I bet it causes more wrecks..!  Why…while your distracting everyone around you with your stupidly LOUD pipes…you are apt to cause a wreck by doing so. As for all you loud pipe lovers out there…I have found that most seem to be suffering from LMS ( little man syndrome ) and its more for….hey look at me….don’t I look real kool on my bike…you want to know the truth…your NOT…! You just look stupid and makes drives respect you all the less.  I get more comments and complements on how quite my bike is then anything else. Many of them come from older people in there 40’s and up…and they like it..! Oddly enough I also have many parents ask me if there kid can sit on my bike for a photo…and I let them…I even have them start it up and even take some…where possible…on a short ride. Of those that have been on my bike the most notable was an 84 year old lady that had NEVER been on a bike before…! By the way she loved it…!!!  This happens to me all the time. Why? Could it be that I look like a normal human being and not some…whatever.  But if you want to turn people off and make there ears bleed from that noise…and ride like a raped ape….well it’s a free country… But if no one shows you any respect….that’s of your own doing…  The problem as I see it is that John Q Public often see’s and hears loud pipe types…who more often then not look and act like there crap just does not smell…hence giving John Q Public the impression that we are a pile of hard core biker thugs.  Is that what you really want the public to see and think of us…?  Think about some…
