VETERAN US drag racing star Jay 'PeeWee' Gleason has run a near standard, 2nd Generation 2009 V-Max to a 9.513 at 143.7 mph quarter mile at Bradenton Drag Strip.

The only mods made to the bike were a UFO Performance Products CatSass exhaust system, a UFO Max Tuner, modified air box (top and YCC-I removed) and a drag-racing slick tyre.

It's reported the machine was churning out 189.9 hp at the rear wheel.

Booyaaaaaaaaaaah!

i would imagine that one of those would certainly get the pulse racing a bit

and quite like the triumph rocket 3, i would like a go but would not be able to live with one as my only bike, but still quite a piece of work
