Near standard VMAX trounces the strip in the hands of Jay 'PeeWee' Gleason
VETERAN US drag racing star Jay 'PeeWee' Gleason has run a near standard, 2nd Generation 2009 V-Max to a 9.513 at 143.7 mph quarter mile at Bradenton Drag Strip.
The only mods made to the bike were a UFO Performance Products CatSass exhaust system, a UFO Max Tuner, modified air box (top and YCC-I removed) and a drag-racing slick tyre.
It's reported the machine was churning out 189.9 hp at the rear wheel.
Booyaaaaaaaaaaah!
THAT' NOT TO SHABBY!!!!!
mods don't sound much, but by the time you've imported them you're looking at a couple of K on top of your origin al lay out.Wonder how much slower the B-KING is in standard trim in the same hands.

i would imagine that one of those would certainly get the pulse racing a bit
and quite like the triumph rocket 3, i would like a go but would not be able to live with one as my only bike, but still quite a piece of work
