VIDEO: Josh Brookes catastrophic Mallory crash

Six riders down after hard charging Aussie makes a massive blunder

HERE'S THE moment HM Plant Honda rider Josh Brookes earned himself a two-race ban after the young Australian caused a multi-bike pile-up at yesterday's BSB races at Mallory Park.

It's the second time Brookes has been penalised for his rogue riding; the HM Plant man was responsible for punting Sylvian Guintoli from his machine at Donington Park's BSB meet earlier this season.

Walker's comments on the grid afterwards were uncalled for......what a little twat he is. I dont get the whole Walker hype.........he's SHIT! Brookes shoulda lamped him one.

Flagman

Have you seen this post on the BSN website?

 http://www.bikesportnews.com/articles/article.html?id=HONDA_AND_THE_BLAME_GAME_-_EDITORS_OPINION_1

Read the last few lines, Glen Richards crash was a brake problem wasn't it? I read somewhere the brake lines had been incorrectly routed, could it have been a similar probelm on Josh Brookes bike?  all HM Plant Hondas.

This should not be happening on race bikes at this level.

That is interesting, had completely missed that about the Donington incident....

Shakey

Josh Brookes can't be blamed for Tommy Hill, Walker and Co crashing because when Tommy Hill fell - and the rest crashed into him - Josh Brookes and Simon Andrews were both off the track and on the grass.

Tommy Hill was bleating to Tony Carter afterwards but if he looks at the footage he'll see that he was a victim of his own downfall.  Chris Walker should apologise for his televised outburst to Brookes because Tommy Hill caused him to fall - they maybe were all going too fast to make the corner)!

I see that Steve Plater has openly spoken of his dismay at brookes being banned and he rides for the same team!  He's maybe heard about the 'alleged' dodgy brakes that HM Plant are supposed to have owned up to (so I read)!!!

Shakey

Re Tricky Dicky's post where he missed the article about HM Plant's loss of brakes (or whatever it is going on)  I was at Knockhill hairpin and saw Glen Richards' scary incident on the Friday and everyone around me said that they reckoned ** HE'D GOT NO BRAKES ** and was bailing off the bike because he knew what lay ahead of him!!!!

Whatever is going on with these HM Plant bikes?  They should be sorted before a rider is killed!!!!!

...racing is dangerous and crashes do happen....but they happen a lot more if you ride like a bell end...

I dunno what to make of all this. If IF Suzuki do go the CRT route, I reckon it would be a bit of a shame. But I can understand the reasons,...
