Introducing the new Dakar-designed Motohansa tool kit

A NEW, compact motorcycle tool kit has hit the market, promising to offer everything the everyday rider needs to perform roadside repairs.

Designed by Dakar racer Simon Pavey, the Motohansa Pro Compact 38-piece kit contains a comprehensive selection of tools, ideal for emergency repairs.

The kit, which Pavey himself uses at his Off Road Skills training schools, is housed in a tough Cordura pouch, and small enough to go under most bike seats. Inside is a multifunctional 1/4" Drive Flexi Head Ratchet that can be used from any angle as socket ratchet, bit driver or screwdriver; a Motohansa Multi Tool, which includes screwdriver, knife, bottle opener and pliers; 24 x S2 bits, sand-blasted and nickel-plated for long life; 9 x 1/4" chrome vanadium flank traction system sockets; 1/4" 100mm extension bar and 1/4" to S2 bit adaptor and a tyre-pressure gauge.

Meeting both DIN and ANSI standards, the tool is available in Honda, KTM and BMW versions; each one containing the correct sockets and attachments.

And its use isn’t limited to by the roadside, with many of the tools proving equally handy in the garage or workshop.

The Honda and KTM kits cost £69.00 each while the BMW kit retails at £89.00. Buy them here.
