BMW's new lid is the lightest on the market

BMW Motorrad have unveiled the lightest enduro helmet on the market, new for the BMW Rider Equipment 2009 range

Based on the company's current Enduro helmet, the Carbon holds a ECE 22-05 certification the helmet is suitable for use both on and off-road.

The design has been developed using a wind tunnel to ensure wind noise is kept to a minimum, maintaining a safer, more comfortable environment for the wearer.

The helmet is constructed from high-quality carbon with the total weight including visor and peak, of a mere 1,070 grams for the small helmet shell or 1,170 grams for the large helmet shell. This makes it the lightest enduro helmet on the market.

The Enduro Carbon helmet is available in sizes 53/54 and 55/56 (helmet shell S), 57/58 and 59/60 (helmet shell M) and 61/62 and 63/64 (helmet shell L). Price to be confirmed.
