Tasty but expensive

NORTON Motorcycles has joined forces with Arai Helmet to create a new Norton RX-7GP.

Only available direct from the British manufacturer, orders for the Norton Replica are being taken immediately with delivery expected in December (are they having a laugh? - Ed) .

The design is similar to that which adorns the firm’s rotary NRV588 racer. Building on its now trademark black for the background, the iconic Norton logo appears on both the front and back with a waved Union flag present on both visor side pods. A chequered band – a nod to the historic firm’s racing pedigree – runs around the bottom.

The twin air-diffusers - synonymous with the range-topping Arai – are brought to further prominence with a silver finish complete with red pin striping.

This new design was debuted on the Isle of Man when the Works Norton team returned to the world famous TT races for the first time since 1993.

The Norton Replica Arai RX-7 GP will cost £589.99 and will be available in sizes XS-XXL.

Arai need to bring their overpriced prices down.  Nearly £600 for a noisy helmet similar to the Corsair, you must be joking.  Stop buying them folks and watch the prices come down.

Probably arrive before the bikes!

I've never been a fan of Aria's.  They don't fit my head that well.  But they do have some of the best racer Rep paint jobs.  But whilst i can get hold of carbon Fibre HJC helmets for £150 delivered to my door i don't think i'll bother wasting an extra £450.  ;^)

Looks like a Phil Read replica with a gold Not-run badge.

Pfft.
