Well, eat your scoffs. The latest in Kawasaki's interminable series of teasers videos confirms a crankshaft speed - of 14,000rpm.
It doesn't add much else to the hype surrounding the new supercharged 998cc four-cylinder sports bike but it does add: 'Planetary gear technology found in aircraft gearboxes is used to drive the Ninja H2's impeller.'
Translation: 'It's got a supercharger.'
The 300hp track-only Ninja H2R was officially unveiled last Tuesday.
Visordown was first with a picture of the 200hp road-going version, the Ninja H2, which is due to be unveiled to the public at the Milan motorcycle show on November 4.

Further proof comes from the rev counter on the Ninja H2R. While it has no numbers painted on it, the lines appear to show it will red-line at 14,000rpm. Not bad for 998cc.
