Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F prices leaked?

Info leaked on dealer website

A MOTORCYCLE dealership appears to have accidentally leaked UK prices for the new Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F.

The dealership has listed prices for the two new models on its website, revealing that the GSX-S1000 super naked will cost £8,699 and the GSX-S1000F, which is identical apart from the addition of a fairing, will be priced at £8,995.

A spokesperson for Suzuki said: 'As yet, pricing for both models hasn't been confirmed internally or with dealers. We have of course discussed where we are hoping to position the bike price wise, but the bikes' RRP has not yet been confirmed.'

Power figures for the two models were also recently leaked on Suzuki’s official website, according to German bike mag Motorrad.

While the figures have now been removed, the data suggested that the Suzukis will both make 145hp at 9,500rpm when they are released this summer.

Given that they’re powered by an old-generation GSX-R1000 motor, retuned to suit both the new bikes’ more laid-back style and the latest emission regulations, the figure sounds more than plausible.
