HONDA has unveiled a new supermoto-style street bike concept called the CX-01.
Little is known about the new bike, including its engine capacity, but it looks to be a single-cylinder.
Honda unveiled the CX-01 yesterday at the Indian Auto Expo show.
The concept was designed and developed by the Honda R&D centre at Manesar, India. ‘CX’ is short for ‘Concept Cross’ and the number ‘01’ refers to the first project by Honda’s Indian R&D team.
A sign on the Honda show stand says: ‘This new Cross concept possesses perfect blend of smart onroad styling and strong base for tough outdoor performance.
‘The category holds high potential to win hearts of new breed of Indian bikers by creating new trend in Indian motorcycle market.’
