WE WERE SO impressed by BMW's new 6-Pack concept bike, which went on show for the first time at this year's Milan Motorcycle Show, we thought you'd enjoy a proper look at the inline six-cylinder beast.

The company claim output of the new 1600cc six-cylinder will be roughly the same range as on BMW’s 1300cc straight-four power units. Torque, on the other hand, will be right at the top of the range, even in comparison with the largest motorcycle engines, like Triumph's Rocket III.

The engine delivers 130 Nm or 96 lb-ft of torque from just 2,000 rpm and at the same time revving up almost to 9,000 rpm. BMW claim the engine's a potential power unit for a host of the company's future models.

Yes, we'd like to see the engine feature in some of the company's future models but BMW, please, put the 6-Pack into production. It's an absolute must.
