New Ducati Multistrada 950 revealed

DUCATI has just revealed the latest addition to the Multistrada range – the Multistrada 950, which it says is based on the concept of accessibility and versatility.

Powered by the 937cc 11 degreee Testastretta engine from the Hypermotard 939, the Multistrada 950 is the smallest capacity Multistrada in the range but still makes 113hp and 70.9lb/ft of torque.

The bike features the Ducati Safety Pack – so it’s got ABS (obviously) and Ducati Traction Control, plus four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro) to make the it adaptable and useable in a wide range of conditions.

As you can see, it takes its styling from the larger members of the Multistrada family, and uses design cues lifted from both the Multistrada 1200 and 1200 Enduro. The headlight, adjustable screen, beak, ‘wings’ and tank come from the 1200 while the narrow mid-section, passenger seat, rear grab rail, the design of the exhaust and double-sided swingarm and the wheel sizes were taken from the Multistrada 1200 Enduro.

Braking is handled by a pair of Brembo M4.32 radially-mounted monoblocs and 320mm discs and comes on Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres.

Suspension is handled by a full-adjustable KYB 48mm diameter upside down fork and there’s a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock in the rear.

There’s an LCD instrument panel, a 19 inch front wheel to give it some off-road potential, LED taillight.
