Honda India launches its first mass-market 110cc machine
HONDA India today launched the 'CB Twister' - a stylish 190mpg machine, set to sell in India for the equivalent of £554.
The Twister, the company's first mass-market 110cc machine, was inspired by the Honda CB1000R. The stylish lightweight is powered by all-new 110 cc engine, delivering just 9bhp and can return a whacking claimed 190mpg.
The company claims that the new 110cc bike is targeted at the customers who aspire for style and performance along with basic needs of mileage and comfort in limited budget.
“The CB Twister will be available to customers by end of February 2010. With never seen before in the segment new age style, unmatched performance, economy of 70 kms /litre (based on internal Honda test ride mode that is close to actual city riding conditions).

If it were sold in the UK it would no doubt be about £2k...
I'd buy one for £554 though: 15 yr old 125s go for that

India has nothing on the crap we put our bikes through!
At £554 it would make for the cheapest race series ever though... You'd pay that for a brake caliper on some bikes hehe

On the road for under a grand?
It might get some car drivers on 2 wheels and reduce congestion in our cities?
OK it's not going to break any speed records but it should be nippy enough to use as a commuter for many people.
It can only be a good thing - as for a racer it could fit straight into the FAB racing series for single cylinder air cooled 125's.
