MV Agusta F4 RC breaks cover

WSBK homologation special leaking all over net

MV AGUSTA'S F4 RC looks in danger of being old news by the time it’s officially unveiled, with pictures of the new superbike leaking all over the net.

We first saw the 212hp WSBK homologation special in leaked pictures last month. Now pictures have been published by Italian website Masmoto.net showing the bike at a trade show in Madrid, where the final production version is said to have broken cover.

Another picture (shown as our main image) has appeared on mvagustaclubdefrance.com, with a comment saying the bike was ‘seen by a London dealer’ as it left the factory in Varese, Italy.

The images show new graphics, with branding for Mercedes' tuning arm AMG, MV’s new partner, now on the fairing, replacing ‘F4 RC Reparto Corse’ seen on the earlier version.

According to an information sheet accompanying last month’s leaks, the bike weighs 175kg dry and the price in Italy will be €36,900.

It will be made in limited numbers as a production version of MV’s recently revealed F4 RC WSBK race bike, to meet homologation rules.

It’s expected to be officially revealed to the public any day now.
