MV Agusta F4 - The Edizione Finale

For the Japanese market only

THE ORIGINAL MV Agusta F4 is getting a final swansong with the introduction of the 'Edizione Finale' - unfortunately as an exclusive for the Japanese market only.

Beautifully crafted by Massimo Tamburini to mark the resurrection of the MV Agusta name in 1998, the F4 1078 RR 312 Edizione Finale will be limited to 30 machines produced - with the final edition highlighted by a numbered plaque and a quilted brown leather seat with red stitching.

The F4 has an interesting history. In the beginning of the design process Ferrari were involved in the development of the engine, with the liquid-cooled inline-four derived from the 1990 - 1992 F1 powerplant.

MV decided to deviate from the engine design, but in doing so opted to keep the radial valves, that aside from the design - including the four exhausts - is another unique feature of the Italian machine.

A fitting tribute to one of the most beautiful motorcycles of all time?
