the rear shock is pretty simple, instead of working on compressing, it extends/stretches.

Contrary to what the writer seems to think, the Guzzi engine and gearbox don't weigh any more than the average 1200cc engine. As has been said earlier, rumour has it that this bike only weighs about 400 pounds. And it is a concept bike, that means that it is a way of putting some styling and engineering ideas in front of the public to gauge reaction. It will never go into production exactly as we see it here.
