It's been a long time in gestation - two years to be precise - but there's no doubting the MV Augusta 675's good looks.
Using a similar modular theme as Triumph, the three-cylinder middleweight MV looks to maximise the company's profitability without resorting to expensive retooling to create an all-new bike. Chopping a cylinder off their larger F4 1000cc engine is relatively cheap in manufacturing terms.
The MV design team were briefed with further reducing production costs (their F4 is famously expensive to produce) by simplifying the design without harming the appeal of the award winning good looks.
We think they've achieved this. The three stubby, low-slung pipes in particular are a real attention grabber.
