Oh, I have no doubt it'll be a decent bike in terms of reliability and honda-ness and stuff, but to be honest it makes even the Varadero look light. And it looks so *busy*, what a mess of lines and plastic.
But then, I'd like a bike that was actually somewhat capable of what its image suggests, even if it only gets used once in a blue moon. This is just a fake.
I really don't get this: Yes, most GSes don't ever leave the road and are only ridden on sunny afternoons so they don't really need actual offroad capability. So?
The average Fireblade never sees a racetrack either, and they're not fitting those with a mildly tuned parallel twin because the owners will never really need all that power. Imagine Honda introducing their newest supersport bike, with a 600cc twin making 70 hp because people don't need more. They'd be laughed off the floor...
Come on Honda. Make something with a 2 cylinder engine that's got 80 or so HP, spoke wheels, at least 20 cm of suspension travel, not too much plastic and weighs about 200 kg. Oh, and a double round headlight.
There's a market for a bike like that.
