2012 Aprilia RSV4 Factory with ABS

APRILIA will launch an ABS equipped version of its RSV4 Factory.

Seen on Aprilia's stand at Intermot in Germany, Bosch 2-channel ABS is not the only new addition: this model also features different Brembo M4 monobloc calipers to the other RSV4s - the same ones seen on Ducati's Panigale.

Aprilia also claim a power hike to 185bhp, although this is likely to be 170bhp at the rear wheel. Other specs look unchanged, with the RSV4 already using one of the best traction control systems in the business. It's still a 999cc, 170bhp, V4 animal and with ABS, can firmly square up to the other electronics-packed big boys; Panigale, S1000RR and ZX-10R.

Price as shown on the stand: 22,790 Euros (£18,321).
