Honda RC213V-S walk-around

Honda's RCV road bike has captivated our imaginations for as long as it's been rumoured. We don't have to imagine any more – it's here

HOW nice to see the Japanese back doing what they do best. This week's Eicma Milan show saw not one, not two, but three potentially game-changing new superbikes from Japanese manufacturers.

There was Kawasaki's Ninja H2, Yamaha's new R1 and then this from Honda, a road-going prototype based on the RC213V bike ridden to MotoGP victory by Marc Marquez. It's called the RC213V-S and Visordown was in Milan for its unveiling.

Pictures can only tell you so much, so we shot a series of quick walk-around videos at the show, including one of this delight, which is listed as a 2015 model. We've done the same with Yamaha's new R1, Kawasaki's Ninja H2 and Aprilia's RSV4 RR.
