Honda CBF1000FA

HONDA UK has announced the Honda CBF1000FA is now available from official Honda dealers, priced at £8,875 OTR.

Originally designed and launched as a CBF1000 in 2006, this latest addition features a sporty, single exhaust end-can to its 998cc Honda Fireblade-derived motor - up 10bhp on the previous Honda CBF. The new machine also utilises a new aluminium frame, replacing the steel original and improved suspension, say Honda.

In addition, Honda’s Combined ABS (C-ABS) system is equipped as standard on UK Honda CBF1000F models.

Other stuff: A slimmer look to the half-fairing and a new dash layout, comprising: central analogue rev-counter and digital speedometer, along with practical touches such as dual trip meters and fuel gauge.

Honda CBF1000FA official specifications

The sporty edge to the Honda CBF1000F continues in the styling with a racier, slimmer look to the half-fairing and a sporty new dash layout. This includes a large, central analogue rev-counter and digital speedometer along with practical touches such as dual trip meters and fuel gauge, which also shows both real-time and average fuel consumption. Sporty can still mean comfy, as the Honda CBF1000F features a four-position windscreen, three-position seat and adjustable handlebars.

The current Honda range includes the Honda CBF1000 model available in both standard and ABS versions priced at £7,075 and £7,575 (OTR) respectively, with the Honda CBF1000GT, which features fairing lowers and a three-box luggage system, priced at £8,425 (OTR). The new Honda CBF1000F will also come with a host of genuine Honda accessories available, including luggage, heated grips, alarm and U-lock. It will be available in four new colours – Pearl Nightstar Black, Quasar Silver Metallic, Pearl Cool White and Pearl Amber Yellow - all finished-off with cool black-finished engine covers and six-spoke wheels.

You can book a test ride on any Honda by visiting the Honda website at www.honda.co.uk or by checking in with your local Honda motorcycle dealer. You can find your nearest Honda motorcycle dealer by going to the Honda website and using the Honda Dealer Search facility.

Yeah - only 2.5 grand overpriced rather than 4 grand....

Lovely bike though apart from the silly single headlight on dip.
