US CAR GIANT General Motors has teamed up with Chinese partner Shanghai Automotive Industry to produce this new new concept vehicle, dubbed the EN-V.It looks like an electric car but the EN-V rides on just two wheels, making it a fully enclosed electric scooter. Sort of.‘The EN-V reinvents the automobile through the convergence of electrification and connectivity. It provides an ideal solution for urban mobility that enables future driving to be free from petroleum and emissions, free from congestion and accidents, and more fun and fashionable than ever before,’ says Kevin Wale, President and MD, GM China Group.The EN-V’s motors are powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, which provides a range of at least 40km on one full charge. GPS, onboard cameras and parking sensors make this a proper hi-tech eco-friendly alternative to the car, or bike. Perhaps.Can't see it squeezing through city-centre traffic jams quite as easily as a bike. Can you?
