First Look: BMW S1000RR Carbon Edition

More power and more bling from BMW's revolutionary superbike

IF THE standard 180bhp BMW S1000RR isn't enough to get your juices flowing, then how about this Carbon Limited Edition version?

For the Dutch market only, the Carbon S1000RR features a carbon fibre fairing, traction control, ABS, alarm, rearsets and an Akrapovic end can to help drag another few horses out of the stable.

It'll be going on sale next year for €24,990 (£22,350). Gulp.

Check the power and torque graph to see the benefits of an Akrapovic exhaust.

Nice!

Locomoto

Would love to have one but 20k+ is quite steep for my budget. Bummer!

 hmm...

"Dear Santa,

Since I have been a good lad this year (got me Masters too), would you mind making a stop to the Netherlands to bring one of those babies over here?!

PS: If it includes a lovely lass I promise to be nice the next year too with an interest rate of your choice!"

I don't think I ask for too much, do I.

S1000
Why does everyone rave about carbon fibre, it looks ugly and saves about as much weight on a road bike as having a right good dump before you go out. Plus if you leave it in the sun it goes a nasty yellow colour if its not made properly.
