The bike was spotted testing in Italy by Motociclismo and by all accounts the V4 bruiser was more than capable of giving full-on, fully-faired sports bikes a run for their money around Misano racetrack.
It's unclear if this is what the final production version will look like, but we bet a gaggle of aftermarket exhaust manufacturers are already tooling up a version to replace the gargantuan system seen here.
If the popularity of Aprilia's Tuono is anything to go by then the naked RSV4 should be a strong seller; let's just hope it's priced accordingly.
