Like 'em or not, battery-powered bikes are here to stay

ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE specialists Zero have unveiled the new beefed-up motocross version of their battery-powered bike, in the shape of the Zero MX.

Zero claim the MX uses a newly developed suspension system to absorb aggressive terrain, combined with astate-of-the-art ultra-light frame design. A custom suspension system makes the Zero MX highly responsive, while maintaining an industry leading power-to-weight ratio, say Zero.

That spec says a lot about what's going in and very little about how much it puts out (torque/kW)

I don't think you can really measure the power an electric motor puts out in the same way you can a petrol engine.
