Ducati to sell 1198R in 2010?

Rumours suggest that Ducati will be renaming the 1098R in 2010

Ducati 1198R .. Correctly named for 2010

Ducati's 1098R has never actually been a 1098, it's actually 1198cc, so rumours that Ducati will be removing the 1098R from its range and replacing it with an 1198R sound probable.

If they do change it to an 1198R, you heard it here first.

Wow, they're really going to be selling an 1198R, which will be exactly as a 1098R.

Those guys are just geniuses.

Speculation abounds that it’ll be a v-twin, and run on two wheels.  Nothing confirmed, but if it proves to be true, remember you heard it here first!

(slow news week?)

Just had some spy shots emailed to me:

It seems that it will be available in RED.

Obviously, as they're Italian, it may be a hoax, but remember where you heard it....
