A DUCATI Hypermotard 796 might not seem like the prefect starting point for a café racer but it’s hard to fault the result.

Meet ‘Hector’, with one-off bodywork consisting of three sheets of aluminium hammered into shape by hand.

It’s the work of Swiss custom house ‘Be Unique 2.22’ and the bodywork was entirely hand-crafted, including the mahogany veneer panels.

It’s set to be shown at a new ‘contemporary craft’ exhibition called Tresor, in Basel, Switzerland, from September 21-24.

As above. Jump on the hipster bandwagon....knock up something made out of old tea trays and pick up an award (Probably). And yes, ive got a hypermotard (1100 evo sp) what a shame to do that to an awesome bike.
