Ducati and Diesel combine to create the Ducati Diavel Diesel

Which runs on petrol

DUCATI has partnered with Italian clothing company Diesel to create a new limited edition Diavel – the Ducati Diavel Diesel, which will be limited to 666 units and on sale from April this year.

The bike is the result of a collaboration between the Ducati Design Centre and Andrea Rosso, Diesel’s Creative Director. Apparently the inspiration for the Diavel Diesel comes from a ‘hyperkinetic dynamism of a post-apocalyptic, retro-futuristic world’, whatever that means, if anything at all.

The bike’s distinguishing features include a brushed stainless steel tank cover, with visible welding and rivets, a red LCD dash display, exhausts with a black ceramic Zircotec coating, unique leather seat, red front Brembo brake calipers and Diesel logos on the insides of the air intake. It all combines to make the bike look raw and edgy, with enough about it to make it quietly stand out.

The Diavel’s 162hp 1198cc Testastretta 11° L-Twin engine remains unchanged, so if you buy one, make sure you pick up the green pump when you fill it up.

The bike was first revealed at Milan Men’s Fashion week and more information can be found at the Diavel Diesel website.
