AS well as the F3 – which doesn't go on sale until the end of the year and so is really a 2012 model – MV Agusta is working on a selection of derivatives to keep it going into the future.
The most obvious of these, a mini-Brutale called the B3, is scheduled to be MV's main unveiling later this year. Already shown to dealers, the B3 is, predictably, a naked version of the F3, designed to trump Triumph's Street Triple.
Perhaps more important that its looks or name is the fact that the B3 should represent the first MV in recent memory to be within relatively easy reach of the average pocket; it will undercut the F3, with a planned price of 8990 Euros (£7800) it should be on a par with stuff like Yamaha's FZ8 and the Street Triple R.
The other news for MV Agusta is set to be the adoption of ABS brakes across the entire range.
